Saturday, May 10, 8:00 am, Boerne “is this the last hill?” Ride (NNW) [H] Routes vary from 25-70 miles and go through Comfort, Sisterdale, and Waring-Welfare and for the really stout-of-heart, Old Hwy 9 to Luckenbach. The Boerne ride is one of the longest running rides offered monthly by the Wheelmen for good reason – the scenery! The hills are challenging and definitely not for the faint-of-heart. The fun begins at Fiserve Health Building, 194 South Main Street in downtown Boerne. Take I-10 West to Business 87 (exit 542) and continue north on Main Street to the Fiserve Health Building, on the left at the stoplight. Contact: John Y., 210/325-2500 or 210/524-9393
 
Saturday, May 10, 8:00 am, MPO Walk & Roll Ride (F) This is an easy ride from the Botanical Gardens, through downtown then along the Mission Trail to Mission Espada and return. This event is sponsored by the Bexar County/City of San Antonio Metropolitan Planning Organization. The Wheelmen provide the

, Southside Mission Ride (S) [F to R] Routes of 27, 39, 51, and 61 miles begin at the parking lot of the Visitors Center at Mission San Jose and travel along the lower section of the Mission Trail past historic Missions and the SA River before heading into the flat to slightly rolling terrain of southeast Bexar County. Take Exit 137 from I-37 South, turn right on Hot Wells and continue 1.7 miles (road curves to the right after crossing RR tracks just past S. Presa), then turn left onto VFW Blvd. for 0.5 miles, left on Roosevelt for 0.4 miles, and left on Napier to reach the Visitors Center. Contact: Ken, 210/533-3416 (evenings)
 
Sunday, May 11, 8:00 am, Marion Ride (NE) [F to R] Routes of 20, 36, 44, 50, 57 and 64 miles. Meet at Marion High School. From I-35 North, turn right on FM 3009 (Roy Richard Drive, exit 175) to FM 78; turn left and go about 6.5 miles, turn right on South La Vernia Steet in Marion, then go 3 short blocks.
